Gametoken is an open-source hardware and software platform that enables digital credits and timed freeplay for pinball and arcade machines. Players use QR codes or NFC to activate games, while operators retain complete control over pricing, credit issuance and venue policies. Credits can be sold over the counter or topped up on a player's phone through integrated third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Gametoken never processes or holds customer funds - it simply provides the secure infrastructure that authorises game access. Affordable, secure and easy to deploy, Gametoken is designed for everything from a single machine to large multi-venue operations.
